SHANNON KAMINSKI
Shannon Kaminski began competing with Steppin' Out Dance Co. at the age of 6 in Downers Grove, Illinois. While at Steppin' Out, she was trained by Donna Johnson, Ashley Goletz and her brother, Sean Kaminski. Shannon was a Chicago Human Rhythm Project scholarship recipient for many years, where she furthered her education by studying under some of the great masters of tap. At 16, Shannon began choreographing competition routines for her and her teammates where she earned Regional & National First Place Soloist titles as well as Regional & National Duet/Trio titles. Shannon has since received choreography awards for technique, skill, showmanship and Industry Dance Award Nominations.
Shannon graduated from Ball State University in 2017 with a degree in Public Relations. While attending BSU she was on the Code Red Dance Team, which allowed her to attended the ProAction Dance intensive in Las Vegas, NV. She also performed at all BSU sporting events, and appeared at promotional events for the University. Shannon was also on Ball State's Outlet Hip Hop Team for all four years where she choreographed multiple performances and held a position on their executive board. She has traveled across states to teach workshops, and has worked for BravO! Dance Competition. She currently resides in Indianapolis, IN and is a member of the Circle City Tap Company.
