RECREATIONAL
At Expressenz, we believe that dance should be fun, inspiring, and accessible to all! Our Recreational Program is designed for dancers of all ages and skill levels, offering high-quality training in a supportive and encouraging environment. With a variety of styles to choose from, flexible enrollment, and exciting performance opportunities—including our Holiday Showcase and Spring Recital—your dancer will have the chance to build confidence, make new friends, and grow their love for dance. Whether you’re stepping into the studio for the first time or returning for another season, we can’t wait to dance with you!
SUMMER TECHNIQUE INTENSIVE
Experience the ultimate dance training at our annual NZ Technique Intensive! For one incredible weekend, dancers from across the country have the chance to train like an Expressenz dancer. Join us this summer on July 26th & 27th, with exclusive optional classes on Friday, July 25th. Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your technique and push your limits!
PRINCESS FAIRYTALE CAMP
Fairytale Princess Camp is a four-day summer ballet camp for ages 3-6, featuring ballet lessons, princess etiquette, fairytale time with a real princess, crafts, snacks, and games. The camp concludes with a special performance, creating a magical and engaging experience for young dancers.
NZ TOTZ
Designed for passionate young dancers ages 4-5, the NZ TotZ program prepares students for our NZ Company with exciting performance and competition opportunities. Dancers will compete in regional competitions, perform in the Nutcracker, and have the option to attend our out-of-state nationals in the summer. With expert training and a fun, supportive environment, NZ TotZ is the perfect first step for aspiring competitive dancers!
NZ TAPZ
NZ TapZ is a youth tap company that trains dancers in technique, choreography, and performance while fostering a love for the art form. Led by Shannon Kaminski, members work with guest artists and perform at community events like the Carmel Symphony Orchestra’s Holiday Spec. Since 2018, the company has grown to over 50 dancers, culminating each season with an annual Tap Showcase.
BALLET EXPRESSENZ
Ballet Expressenz is a premier training program for dancers ages 5-18, designed to develop the technical and artistic skills needed for college or a professional dance career. Members train with world-class faculty, perform in The Nutcracker and our year-end showcase, and may be invited to compete at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP). With opportunities for private coaching, live accompaniment, and professional partnerships, Ballet Expressenz provides exceptional training for serious young dancers
NZ COMPANY
The NZ Company is a high-level competitive program for dedicated dancers committed to excellence. Members train from August through Nationals in July, attending conventions, regional competitions, and a national competition. This program builds confidence, resilience, and top-tier performance skills while emphasizing teamwork, self-motivation, and a strong, healthy mindset. With opportunities to learn from industry professionals and compete against the best, NZ Company dancers grow into versatile, well-rounded performers prepared for future success
