NZ TAPZ

NZ TapZ is a youth tap company offered for dancers wanting to expand their knowledge of tap, and share their love of the artform within the community. 

Within their rehearsals, dancers will work with NZ TapZ Director, Shannon Kaminski, on different technique exercises and choreography. Each season, dancer's have the opportunity to work with guest artists for both master classes and guest choreography. In the past, NZ TapZ has welcomed Nick Dinicolanelo, Justin Lewis, Sarah Reich, Nico Rubio, Jeremy Arnold, and Sean Kaminski. 

Since its founding year in 2018, NZ TapZ has grown from 13 members to over 50! Every year the company finds new ways to spread tap throughout the Indianapolis area. From dancing alongside the Carmel Symphony Orchestra in their Holiday Spec, to having all 50 tap dancers share the stage with the Indianapolis Symphonic Band, NZ TapZ gives young dancers opportunities that they'll truly never forget. 

Along with community events, NZ TapZ and NZ TapZ JrZ put on an annual "Tap Showcase" where they share their dances they've learned throughout the year with friends and family.
